Hooked Monster: Fishing Game: Privacy Policy

Dexy Labs · Android (Google Play) · Package com.dexylabs.hookedmonster · Last updated: 13 October 2026 · Contact: [email protected]

Hooked Monster: Fishing Game is published by Dexy Labs ("we"), which is responsible for your data. Contact: [email protected]. This page has two parts: first what Hooked Monster: Fishing Game itself does with your data, then the services it may use, which are the same for all Dexy Labs apps. If the app's own part is more specific, it applies to this app.

How to delete your account and data: https://www.fishinggames.us/blog/hooked-monster/delete-account/

What Hooked Monster: Fishing Game does with your data

This part describes Hooked Monster: Fishing Game as of the date above. A newer version may add features from the next part; they then work exactly as described there.

This policy explains what Hooked Monster (the "game", package com.dexylabs.hookedmonster) collects, why, and how you can delete it.

Playing without an account

You can fish, unlock waters and buy tackle without signing in. Your progress and coins are then stored only on your phone.

Signing in with Google

Saving your progress to an account, the weekly tournament and purchases need a Google sign-in. When you sign in we receive, through Google and Firebase Authentication, a user ID, your email address and your Google account name. We use them only to keep your account and to recognise you on another phone. We do not send you email.

What we store on our server (Google Firebase)

When you first sign in on a phone, the coins and progress already on that phone are copied to your account once.

Purchases

Payments are handled by Google Play. We never see your card or payment details. We ask Google Play to confirm each purchase before the coins or items are added.

Advertising

The game shows rewarded video ads only when you choose to watch one (double coins, a second chance, a doubled daily gift), and an occasional full-screen ad after a fishing trip, never during a fight. The "Remove ads" purchase turns off the ads after trips. Ads are provided by Google AdMob and, through AdMob mediation, by Unity Ads. They may use your device's advertising ID and collect data as described in Google's policy and Unity's privacy policy. Players in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked for consent first, and players in US states with privacy laws can opt out of the sale or sharing of data; you can change your choice at any time in Settings, Privacy options.

Crash reports

Deleting your account

In the game: Settings → Google account → Delete account, then confirm. This deletes your Hooked Monster progress saved online, coins and items on the account and your tournament entries from our server. If you do not use the Google account in any other Dexy Labs game, the sign-in account is deleted too. Progress on your phone stays until you uninstall the game. Records of purchases are kept only as long as required for accounting and fraud prevention.

Services this app may use

Depending on the version and platform (Android or iPhone), Hooked Monster: Fishing Game may use the services below. Features that are not active in your version collect nothing. Where the app's own part above says that it does not use a service, that is true for the version described there.

Firebase Crashlytics (Google)

When the app crashes or hits a serious error, Crashlytics sends a crash report: the time, device model, Android version, app version, the error and its technical details, and an installation identifier created for crash reporting. It contains nothing you typed into the app. We use it only to find and fix bugs. Crash reports are kept for up to 90 days. On iPhone the report includes the iPhone model and iOS version instead of the Android version. More: firebase.google.com.

Google Analytics for Firebase

Usage statistics: in-app events (for example screens opened, levels played, a purchase screen opened), session length, an app-instance ID (a random ID for this installation), device and app information, and an approximate region that Google derives from the IP address (Analytics does not store the IP address). We use it to understand and improve the apps, not to identify you. Where an app's own section says so, Analytics stays off until you agree or turn it on. Data is deleted automatically after at most 14 months. What you enter in our health, fitness and organiser apps (for example cycles, weight, meals, medicines or notes) is never sent to Analytics. More: policies.google.com.

Google AdMob (advertising)

To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google and its partners may use your device's advertising ID (and App Set ID), your IP address (and an approximate location derived from it, for example country or region), device and app information, ad interactions and diagnostic information. We do not use your precise (GPS) location for ads, and we never pass what you typed into an app to the ad service. Rewarded ads are always optional. Ads can be banners, full-screen ads (for example between levels or when the app opens) and optional rewarded ads; a purchase such as "No ads" turns ads off where the app offers it. On iPhone, the advertising identifier (IDFA) is used only if you allow it in Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt; if you do not, ads are still shown without it. More: policies.google.com.

Unity Ads (through AdMob mediation)

Some ad requests can be filled by Unity Ads (Unity Technologies), which competes for the ad inside Google AdMob mediation. Unity Ads then receives your IP address (used for approximate location), device identifiers including the advertising ID, an ID it assigns to the app installation, ad interactions, app usage time, diagnostic information and in-app purchase history, for advertising, analytics, app functionality and fraud prevention. Your consent choices, including a US state "do not sell or share" choice, are passed on to Unity Ads before any ad is requested. More: unity.com.

Google User Messaging Platform (consent)

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland the app shows Google's consent message before personalised ads or analytics that need consent; you can accept, refuse or choose purposes. In US states with privacy laws (for example California) you can opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising through the same Google message. Your choice is stored on your phone and passed on to the ad partners. You can change it at any time in the app's settings (Privacy options) where the app offers it. In an app without ads (for example Carp Fishing) the message only asks about analytics. More: policies.google.com.

Google Play In-App Review and App Store ratings

After a good moment (for example a level won), the app may show Google Play's own rating window, at most about once a month and never right after a loss or an ad. The rating and review go to Google Play under your Google account; the app does not see them and gives no reward for rating. On iPhone the App Store's own rating window is used (iOS decides how often it appears) and the rating goes to Apple. More: policies.google.com.

Google Play Billing (purchases on Android)

Payments are processed by Google Play; we never see your card or bank details. The app receives the product, an order ID, a purchase token and the purchase status. Apps with an account keep a record of the purchase (product, order ID and a fingerprint of the Google Play receipt) so it is credited exactly once and can be restored after reinstalling; these records are kept as long as required for accounting and fraud prevention. Subscriptions are managed and cancelled in Google Play. More: payments.google.com.

Apple App Store purchases (StoreKit, on iPhone)

On iPhone, purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store; we never see your card details or your Apple Account. The app receives a transaction signed by Apple (product, transaction ID and dates). Apps with an account may send it to our server, which checks Apple's signature and records the purchase on your account so it is credited exactly once. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your iPhone settings (Apple Account → Subscriptions); use Restore purchases in the app to get purchases back on a new iPhone. More: www.apple.com.

Google Sign-In and Firebase Authentication (account)

Signing in is optional unless the app's own section says otherwise. When you sign in with Google we receive, through Firebase Authentication, a user ID, your email address and your Google account name (and a profile picture link where the app says so). We never receive your Google password. We use them only to keep your account and recognise you on another phone; we do not send you marketing email. Your Google name is not shown to other players: online you appear under the nickname you choose. More: firebase.google.com.

Sign in with Apple (on iPhone)

On iPhone, apps with an account use Sign in with Apple (through Firebase Authentication where the app uses our servers). We receive a unique Apple user ID and, only if you choose to share them, your name and email address (which can be a private relay address from Apple). We never receive your Apple password. When you delete your account in the app, the app also asks Apple to revoke its access to your Apple ID. You can also stop using Sign in with Apple in iOS Settings → [your name] → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple. More: www.apple.com.

Online features on Google Firebase (our servers)

When you are signed in, our server (Google Firebase: Cloud Firestore and Cloud Functions; for newer games one shared Dexy Labs project) stores what the online features need: coins and items you own (the wallet; only the server changes it), cloud progress, duels and match results, tournaments, leaderboards and purchase records. Other players can see your nickname and your scores on leaderboards and in duels, never your email. More: firebase.google.com.

Notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging, Apple Push Notification service)

Reminders that the app creates itself are scheduled on your phone and send nothing to us. If an app sends news or daily messages, it receives a device token from Firebase Cloud Messaging (Android) or the Apple Push Notification service (iPhone) so the message can reach your phone; the token is not linked to your name. Notifications are shown only if you allow them, and you can turn them off in the app or in your phone's settings. More: firebase.google.com.

Deleting your account

Apps with an account let you delete it in the app (Settings → Account → Delete account, or as the app's section describes) or by email to [email protected] from the address of your Google account. This deletes your account data from our servers (immediately in the app, at the latest within 30 days by email). If you use the same Google account in another Dexy Labs game, the sign-in account stays for that game. Progress stored only on your phone stays until you uninstall the app. Each app also has its own page with the steps, on Android and on iPhone.

What you type in stays on your phone

In our health, fitness and organiser apps, what you enter (cycles, medicines, weight, workouts, sleep, meals, budgets, lists, notes) is stored only on your phone, is never sent to advertisers and is never used to choose ads, unless the app's own section says otherwise (Calorie AI keeps daily nutrition totals with your account). Reminders are created on your phone. If Android backup is turned on, Android may include an app's data in your phone's own Google backup (encrypted, in your Google account); we cannot see that backup, and you can turn it off or delete it in your phone's settings (Settings → Google → Backup). On iPhone, your iCloud or computer backup may include the app's data in the same way, under Apple's policies.

Your consent and choices

Who receives data

Data is shared only with the service providers named on this page (Google, including Firebase, AdMob and Google Play; Unity; Apple; and, only for AI analysis, Anthropic), each for the purpose described above, and with authorities where the law requires it. We do not share what you type into an app with advertisers.

How long we keep data

Account, progress and online data: while your account exists; after deletion it is removed from our servers (immediately in the app, at the latest within 30 days by email). Crash reports: up to 90 days. Analytics: at most 14 months. Purchase records: as long as required for accounting and fraud prevention. Support emails: as long as needed to answer and for related obligations. Data kept by Google (Play purchases, advertising) follows Google's own policies. Data kept by Apple (App Store purchases, iCloud, Apple Health) follows Apple's own policies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK or US state privacy laws), you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict its use, withdraw consent and opt out of targeted advertising. Write to [email protected] with the name of the app. We answer within 30 days. You can also contact your local data protection authority.

Children

Unless the app's own section says otherwise, our apps are not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.

Security and where data is processed

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Data our apps store online is kept with Google Firebase. Google, Unity and our other service providers may process data on servers outside your country, including the United States, under their own safeguards.

Changes and contact

This page changes only when its wording changes; the date at the top shows the last change. An app may start using a service that is already described on this page without a change here; if a change matters (for example a new kind of data), we say so in the app or ask for consent where required.
