This page has two parts: first what Mahjong Gardens itself does with your data, then the services that all Dexy Labs apps share, with a table showing which app uses which (this app's row is highlighted). If the app's own part is more specific, it applies to this app.

What Mahjong Gardens does with your data

This policy explains how Mahjong Gardens handles information when you play, use optional Google services, make purchases, or contact us. It covers the Android app. Advertising, purchases, and Google Play Games features depend on their availability and configuration in your installed version. The website hosting this policy may have separate privacy and cookie notices.

1. Game progress and device storage

The game stores your progress and preferences on your device: levels, scores, stars, current boards and undo history, play statistics, coins, rewards, achievements, unlocked and selected cosmetics, language, and audio and display settings. These records let you resume games, retain rewards, and customize your experience. The app keeps local recovery copies to help restore your save.

You can play without creating a Dexy Labs account. This version does not provide a developer-operated cloud account or automatic developer cloud synchronization. Android backup or device-transfer services may back up app data depending on your device and settings.

If you export or import a save, the app accesses the file and destination you choose through the system file picker. A cloud storage provider you select may store that exported file under its own policy. We do not receive your exported save unless you choose to send it to us.

2. Advertising and privacy choices

When advertising is enabled, the app uses Google AdMob to provide banner, interstitial, and optional rewarded ads. Google's advertising SDK may collect and share IP addresses (including approximate location inferred from IP), device or app identifiers such as the Android advertising ID and App Set ID, ad and app interactions, and diagnostic and performance information. Google processes this information to deliver and measure advertising, analyze performance, and detect fraud and abuse. Processing varies with your device, consent choices, and service configuration.

The app uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request applicable privacy choices and manage advertising consent. Where available, you can reopen the privacy options from the game's Settings. You can also manage advertising identifiers and preferences through your Android or Google settings. Choosing non-personalized ads does not necessarily stop processing needed to deliver, measure, or secure those ads.

Rewarded ads are optional. The game stores a local record of rewards granted so that earned rewards can be applied correctly. A Remove Ads purchase disables banner and interstitial ads; optional rewarded ads may remain available.

3. Purchases

When purchases are available, Google Play processes payments. We do not receive your full payment-card number or banking credentials. The app receives purchase information, which may include product identifiers, purchase tokens, order information, purchase status, and signed transaction records. It uses and caches this information to verify purchases, acknowledge completed transactions, unlock content, and restore eligible purchases through Google Play.

Google retains payment and transaction information under its own policies and applicable obligations. Clearing local game data does not cancel a purchase, erase Google's transaction records, or request a refund.

4. Google Play Games

When Google Play Games is configured and you use it, Google handles authentication and the app can access your player identity and display name to show your signed-in status. If a leaderboard is enabled, game scores are submitted to Google Play Games and your player profile and scores may be visible to other players according to Google's service settings.

We do not receive your Google password. Signing in to Play Games does not create a separate Dexy Labs account and does not, by itself, back up your local Mahjong Gardens progress. Google manages its own account and service information.

5. Support communications

If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments or information you choose to provide, such as an order reference or a save file. We use these to respond, investigate the issue, and handle your request. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, or other information that is unnecessary for support.

6. Purposes and sharing

Information is used to operate the game, save progress, provide requested online features, deliver and measure ads, honor privacy choices, verify purchases, prevent abuse, and provide support. Google receives information through the Google services described above. Email providers process support correspondence. Information you choose to export or share is also handled by your selected recipient or storage provider.

We do not sell personal information for money. Where necessary, information in our possession may be disclosed to meet a legal obligation, respond to a valid legal request, or protect users and the service. If responsibility for the app changes, any transfer of personal information will be subject to applicable law and appropriate notice.

Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on the basis appropriate to the activity: providing a service you request, consent where required (including applicable advertising processing), legitimate interests in support and security where permitted, or legal obligations. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

7. Retention and deletion

Local progress and settings remain until they are replaced, reset, or deleted. You can remove the app's local data through Android Settings by selecting Mahjong Gardens and clearing its storage. This erases local progress. Exported saves and operating-system backups are separate; manage or delete them through the relevant storage or backup service.

Locally cached purchase records can be removed with app storage, but eligible purchases can be restored from Google Play. Google controls retention and deletion for its advertising, purchase, and Play Games records. To manage Play Games information, see Delete your Play Games data or profile. Deleting Play Games data does not necessarily erase local game saves or Google Play purchase records.

We retain support correspondence only as long as needed to handle the request and any related security, dispute, or legal obligations. Contact us to request deletion of information we hold. We cannot directly erase files or backups you control, or records Google must manage.

8. Security and international processing

We use Android app storage protections for local records and the integrated providers' security mechanisms for their online services. Google's advertising SDK encrypts data in transit. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.

Google and other service providers may process information outside your country. Their privacy notices explain the locations, protections, and transfer arrangements that apply to their services.

9. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information; restrict or object to certain processing; or withdraw consent. Contact [email protected] for requests concerning information held by Dexy Labs. We may ask for information needed to verify and respond to your request. You may also contact your local data protection authority. For information controlled by Google, use Google's privacy and account controls.

10. Children and families

Parents and guardians should supervise children's use of online features and purchases and use available Google and Android family controls. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Dexy Labs in circumstances requiring parental consent, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action, including deleting information where required. Google services are also subject to their own age and account requirements.

Services used by Dexy Labs apps

Our apps are built from the same set of services. Below is what each service does with data. For each service you can see whether this app uses it. The table at the end shows every app.

Firebase Crashlytics (Google)

When the app crashes or hits a serious error, Crashlytics sends a crash report: the time, device model, Android version, app version, the error and its technical details, and an installation identifier created for crash reporting. It contains nothing you typed into the app. We use it only to find and fix bugs. Crash reports are kept for up to 90 days. More: firebase.google.com.

Google Analytics for Firebase

Usage statistics: in-app events (for example screens opened, levels played, a purchase screen opened), session length, an app-instance ID (a random ID for this installation), device and app information, and an approximate region that Google derives from the IP address (Analytics does not store the IP address). We use it to understand and improve the apps, not to identify you. Where an app's own section says so, Analytics stays off until you agree or turn it on. Data is deleted automatically after at most 14 months. More: policies.google.com.

Google AdMob (advertising)

Mahjong Gardens: ✔ uses it

To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google and its partners may use your device's advertising ID (and App Set ID), your IP address (and an approximate location derived from it, for example country or region), device and app information, ad interactions and diagnostic information. We do not use your precise (GPS) location for ads, and we never pass what you typed into an app to the ad service. Rewarded ads are always optional. More: policies.google.com.

Unity Ads (through AdMob mediation)

Some ad requests can be filled by Unity Ads (Unity Technologies), which competes for the ad inside Google AdMob mediation. Unity Ads then receives your IP address (used for approximate location), device identifiers including the advertising ID, an ID it assigns to the app installation, ad interactions, app usage time, diagnostic information and in-app purchase history, for advertising, analytics, app functionality and fraud prevention. Your consent choices, including a US state "do not sell or share" choice, are passed on to Unity Ads before any ad is requested. More: unity.com.

Google User Messaging Platform (consent)

Mahjong Gardens: ✔ uses it

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland the app shows Google's consent message before personalised ads or analytics that need consent; you can accept, refuse or choose purposes. In US states with privacy laws (for example California) you can opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising through the same Google message. Your choice is stored on your phone and passed on to the ad partners. You can change it at any time in the app's settings (Privacy options) where the app offers it. In an app without ads (for example Carp Fishing) the message only asks about analytics. More: policies.google.com.

Google Play In-App Review (ratings)

After a good moment (for example a level won), the app may show Google Play's own rating window, at most about once a month and never right after a loss or an ad. The rating and review go to Google Play under your Google account; the app does not see them and gives no reward for rating. More: policies.google.com.

Google Play Billing (purchases)

Payments are processed by Google Play; we never see your card or bank details. The app receives the product, an order ID, a purchase token and the purchase status. Apps with an account keep a record of the purchase (product, order ID and a fingerprint of the Google Play receipt) so it is credited exactly once and can be restored after reinstalling; these records are kept as long as required for accounting and fraud prevention. Google Sign-In and Firebase Authentication (account)

Signing in is optional unless the app's own section says otherwise. When you sign in with Google we receive, through Firebase Authentication, a user ID, your email address and your Google account name (and a profile picture link where the app says so). We never receive your Google password. We use them only to keep your account and recognise you on another phone; we do not send you marketing email. Your Google name is not shown to other players: online you appear under the nickname you choose. More: firebase.google.com.

Online features on Google Firebase (our servers)

Mahjong Gardens: * from the next update

When you are signed in, our server (Google Firebase: Cloud Firestore and Cloud Functions; for newer games one shared Dexy Labs project) stores what the online features need: coins and items you own (the wallet; only the server changes it), cloud progress, duels and match results, tournaments, leaderboards and purchase records. Other players can see your nickname and your scores on leaderboards and in duels, never your email. More: firebase.google.com.

Deleting your account

Mahjong Gardens: * from the next update

Apps with an account let you delete it in the app (Settings → Account → Delete account, or as the app's section describes) or by email to [email protected] from the address of your Google account. This deletes your account data from our servers (immediately in the app, at the latest within 30 days by email). If you use the same Google account in another Dexy Labs game, the sign-in account stays for that game. Progress stored only on your phone stays until you uninstall the app.

Other services used by individual apps

• Firebase Cloud Messaging (Clay Smash 2, Gatara): a device token so the app can receive news and daily notifications; you can turn notifications off in the app or in Android settings.
• Google Play Games (Mahjong Gardens): sign-in to Play Games and leaderboards, handled by Google.
• Firebase Realtime Database (Amoeba Live) and own Firebase projects (Fishao 2, Fishao World, Calorie AI): the same kind of account and game data as "Online features" above.
• Anthropic Claude API through our server (Calorie AI; up to version 1.1.4 through a Cloudflare Worker): food photos you choose to analyse, discarded after the result. Open Food Facts (Calorie AI): only the scanned barcode number.

What you type in stays on your phone

In our health, fitness and organiser apps, what you enter (cycles, medicines, weight, workouts, sleep, meals, budgets, lists, notes) is stored only on your phone, is never sent to advertisers and is never used to choose ads, unless the app's own section says otherwise (Calorie AI keeps daily nutrition totals with your account). Reminders are created on your phone. If Android backup is turned on, Android may include an app's data in your phone's own Google backup (encrypted, in your Google account); we cannot see that backup, and you can turn it off or delete it in your phone's settings (Settings → Google → Backup).

Your consent and choices

• Change your ad and analytics consent in the app's settings (Privacy options), where the app shows Google's consent message.
• Reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads). If you refuse personalised ads, you may still see non-personalised ads, which use less data.
• Turn notifications off in the app or in Android settings.
• We do not sell your personal data for money. Personalised advertising may count as "sale" or "sharing" under some US state laws; you can opt out as described above.

How long we keep data

Account, progress and online data: while your account exists; after deletion it is removed from our servers (immediately in the app, at the latest within 30 days by email). Crash reports: up to 90 days. Analytics: at most 14 months. Purchase records: as long as required for accounting and fraud prevention. Support emails: as long as needed to answer and for related obligations. Data kept by Google (Play purchases, advertising) follows Google's own policies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK or US state privacy laws), you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict its use, withdraw consent and opt out of targeted advertising. Write to [email protected] with the name of the app. We answer within 30 days. You can also contact your local data protection authority.

Children

Unless the app's own section says otherwise, our apps are not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.

Security and where data is processed

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Data our apps store online is kept with Google Firebase. Google, Unity and our other service providers may process data on servers outside your country, including the United States, under their own safeguards.

Which app uses what

Changes and contact
