This page has two parts: first what Autophagy - Fasting Timer itself does with your data, then the services that all Dexy Labs apps share, with a table showing which app uses which (this app's row is highlighted). If the app's own part is more specific, it applies to this app.

This app at a glance

What Autophagy - Fasting Timer does with your data

This section applies to Autophagy version 1.0.14 and later; earlier versions are described at the end. In short: your fasting journal stays on your phone and in your phone's own Google backup. We have no server for it, we never receive it, and it is not used for ads.

Your fasting journal

• What the app keeps: your fasts (start, end, duration, plan, goal, phase), the running fast, your plan, reminders, notification choices, a daily water count, and the look and theme you chose.
• It is saved in the app's storage on your phone. The app has no account and no sign-in, and it does not send your journal to us or to advertisers.
• If you use Export CSV (Pro), the app creates a file in a place you choose; that place may be a cloud service.

Android backup

From version 1.0.14 the journal is included in Android's backup and in phone-to-phone transfer, when backup is turned on in your phone's settings. Google stores that backup in your own Google account (encrypted) under its own policies; we cannot see or access it. Purchase records and advertising data are not part of the app's backup. You can turn backup off or delete it in your phone's settings (Settings → Google → Backup).

Advertising (Google AdMob and Unity Ads)

The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, with Unity Ads as a mediation partner: a banner and, in the new look, at most one full-screen ad a day after a saved fast, and an optional rewarded video that unlocks Pro for 24 hours. Non-personalised ads may still process data. Where required, the app asks for your privacy choices before any ad is loaded (Google's consent message), and US state privacy choices are passed to Unity Ads. You can change them later in the app (Settings → Advertising privacy choices) and reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings. Pro, or the 24-hour Pro trial, removes ads.

Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics)

From version 1.0.14, if the app crashes, Firebase Crashlytics (Google) receives a crash report: device model, Android version, app version, the error and its stack trace, and an installation identifier. It contains no fasting history. We use it only to find and fix errors. The app has no analytics SDK.

Rating the app

From version 1.0.14 the app may show Google Play's own rating window after a good moment (for example a completed fast), at most about once a month. The rating goes to Google Play; the app does not see it.

Google Play purchases

Google Play processes the optional monthly subscription and the lifetime purchase. The app uses product identifiers, purchase tokens, signatures and purchase status to verify and restore access. Dexy Labs does not receive your payment card details. Manage or cancel the subscription in Google Play; uninstalling the app or clearing its data does not cancel it or delete Google's purchase records.

Notifications and internet access

Notifications are created on your phone: the fasting goal, the daily reminder and, if you turn them on, a new phase and the start of your next fast. No data is sent for them. Permissions: POST_NOTIFICATIONS, RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED (to keep reminders after a restart). Internet access (INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE) is used for ads, consent, purchases and crash reports. The app bundles its fonts; it makes no requests to Google Fonts. Basic tracking works offline.

Deleting your data

• In the app: delete single fasts or the whole history (History → Clear All). Deleting the history removes saved sessions, not the current timer or all settings.
• Android's Clear storage or uninstalling deletes the app's data from the phone. A copy in your Android backup can be deleted in your phone's or Google account's backup settings.
• We hold no copy of your journal, so there is nothing to delete on our side. Google keeps its advertising and purchase records under its own policies.

Support

If you email [email protected], we receive your address and what you send, and keep it only as long as needed to answer and for applicable obligations (support, disputes). Please do not send unnecessary medical information. You can ask us to access, correct or delete information you sent us directly.

Adults and medical information

The app is intended for adults; we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app offers education and time tracking, not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. The timer does not measure autophagy or any biological process. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any fasting program.

Earlier versions (up to 1.0.13)

Versions up to 1.0.13 kept the journal only on the phone and disabled Android backup and device transfer for it. They used Google AdMob (without Unity Ads) and Google Play purchases, had no crash-reporting or analytics SDK, and no in-app rating prompt.

Services used by Dexy Labs apps

Our apps are built from the same set of services. Below is what each service does with data. For each service you can see whether this app uses it. The table at the end shows every app.

Firebase Crashlytics (Google)

When the app crashes or hits a serious error, Crashlytics sends a crash report: the time, device model, Android version, app version, the error and its technical details, and an installation identifier created for crash reporting. It contains nothing you typed into the app. We use it only to find and fix bugs. Crash reports are kept for up to 90 days. More: firebase.google.com.

Google Analytics for Firebase

Usage statistics: in-app events (for example screens opened, levels played, a purchase screen opened), session length, an app-instance ID (a random ID for this installation), device and app information, and an approximate region that Google derives from the IP address (Analytics does not store the IP address). We use it to understand and improve the apps, not to identify you. Where an app's own section says so, Analytics stays off until you agree or turn it on. Google AdMob (advertising)

Autophagy - Fasting Timer: ✔ uses it

To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google and its partners may use your device's advertising ID (and App Set ID), your IP address (and an approximate location derived from it, for example country or region), device and app information, ad interactions and diagnostic information. We do not use your precise (GPS) location for ads, and we never pass what you typed into an app to the ad service. Rewarded ads are always optional. More: policies.google.com.

Unity Ads (through AdMob mediation)

Some ad requests can be filled by Unity Ads (Unity Technologies), which competes for the ad inside Google AdMob mediation. Unity Ads then receives your IP address (used for approximate location), device identifiers including the advertising ID, an ID it assigns to the app installation, ad interactions, app usage time, diagnostic information and in-app purchase history, for advertising, analytics, app functionality and fraud prevention. Your consent choices, including a US state "do not sell or share" choice, are passed on to Unity Ads before any ad is requested. More: unity.com.

Google User Messaging Platform (consent)

Autophagy - Fasting Timer: ✔ uses it

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland the app shows Google's consent message before personalised ads or analytics that need consent; you can accept, refuse or choose purposes. In US states with privacy laws (for example California) you can opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising through the same Google message. Your choice is stored on your phone and passed on to the ad partners. You can change it at any time in the app's settings (Privacy options) where the app offers it. In an app without ads (for example Carp Fishing) the message only asks about analytics. More: policies.google.com.

Google Play In-App Review (ratings)

After a good moment (for example a level won), the app may show Google Play's own rating window, at most about once a month and never right after a loss or an ad. The rating and review go to Google Play under your Google account; the app does not see them and gives no reward for rating. More: policies.google.com.

Google Play Billing (purchases)

Payments are processed by Google Play; we never see your card or bank details. The app receives the product, an order ID, a purchase token and the purchase status. Apps with an account keep a record of the purchase (product, order ID and a fingerprint of the Google Play receipt) so it is credited exactly once and can be restored after reinstalling; these records are kept as long as required for accounting and fraud prevention. Google Sign-In and Firebase Authentication (account)

Signing in is optional unless the app's own section says otherwise. When you sign in with Google we receive, through Firebase Authentication, a user ID, your email address and your Google account name (and a profile picture link where the app says so). We never receive your Google password. We use them only to keep your account and recognise you on another phone; we do not send you marketing email. Your Google name is not shown to other players: online you appear under the nickname you choose. More: firebase.google.com.

Online features on Google Firebase (our servers)

Autophagy - Fasting Timer: – not used

When you are signed in, our server (Google Firebase: Cloud Firestore and Cloud Functions; for newer games one shared Dexy Labs project) stores what the online features need: coins and items you own (the wallet; only the server changes it), cloud progress, duels and match results, tournaments, leaderboards and purchase records. Other players can see your nickname and your scores on leaderboards and in duels, never your email. More: firebase.google.com.

Deleting your account

Autophagy - Fasting Timer: – not used

Apps with an account let you delete it in the app (Settings → Account → Delete account, or as the app's section describes) or by email to [email protected] from the address of your Google account. This deletes your account data from our servers (immediately in the app, at the latest within 30 days by email). If you use the same Google account in another Dexy Labs game, the sign-in account stays for that game. Progress stored only on your phone stays until you uninstall the app.

Other services used by individual apps

• Firebase Cloud Messaging (Clay Smash 2, Gatara): a device token so the app can receive news and daily notifications; you can turn notifications off in the app or in Android settings.
• Google Play Games (Mahjong Gardens): sign-in to Play Games and leaderboards, handled by Google.
• Firebase Realtime Database (Amoeba Live) and own Firebase projects (Fishao 2, Fishao World, Calorie AI): the same kind of account and game data as "Online features" above.
• Anthropic Claude API through our server (Calorie AI; up to version 1.1.4 through a Cloudflare Worker): food photos you choose to analyse, discarded after the result. Open Food Facts (Calorie AI): only the scanned barcode number.

What you type in stays on your phone

In our health, fitness and organiser apps, what you enter (cycles, medicines, weight, workouts, sleep, meals, budgets, lists, notes) is stored only on your phone, is never sent to advertisers and is never used to choose ads, unless the app's own section says otherwise (Calorie AI keeps daily nutrition totals with your account). Reminders are created on your phone. If Android backup is turned on, Android may include an app's data in your phone's own Google backup (encrypted, in your Google account); we cannot see that backup, and you can turn it off or delete it in your phone's settings (Settings → Google → Backup).

Your consent and choices

• Change your ad and analytics consent in the app's settings (Privacy options), where the app shows Google's consent message.
• Reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads). If you refuse personalised ads, you may still see non-personalised ads, which use less data.
• Turn notifications off in the app or in Android settings.
• We do not sell your personal data for money. Personalised advertising may count as "sale" or "sharing" under some US state laws; you can opt out as described above.

How long we keep data

Account, progress and online data: while your account exists; after deletion it is removed from our servers (immediately in the app, at the latest within 30 days by email). Crash reports: up to 90 days. Analytics: at most 14 months. Purchase records: as long as required for accounting and fraud prevention. Support emails: as long as needed to answer and for related obligations. Data kept by Google (Play purchases, advertising) follows Google's own policies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK or US state privacy laws), you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict its use, withdraw consent and opt out of targeted advertising. Write to [email protected] with the name of the app. We answer within 30 days. You can also contact your local data protection authority.

Children

Unless the app's own section says otherwise, our apps are not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.

Security and where data is processed

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Data our apps store online is kept with Google Firebase. Google, Unity and our other service providers may process data on servers outside your country, including the United States, under their own safeguards.

Which app uses what

Changes and contact

When an app gets a new service, its row in the table changes from * to ✔; if a change matters (for example a new kind of data), we say so in the app or ask for consent where required.
