About Fishao 2
Fishao 2 is a fishing world you walk around in. You make a character, pick a spot on the bank, hold the button to judge the throw, and a ring on the water shows you where the float is going to land. When it dips you hook it — and then the fish decides how the next minute goes.
Other players are really there. You see them walking the pier, casting, landing something. There is no free typing: a set of phrases and emotes keeps it friendly.
Nine places, and they do not play the same
Sunny Beach is where everyone starts. Lake Village is the town with the shops. Further out there is a mountain lake, an old river with a current that pulls your float downstream, a valley of waterfalls where it is night all the time, a frozen lake you drill a hole in, a tropical bay with a boat to rent, a coral reef where you can see the fish you are aiming at, and an old harbour with a lighthouse and a midnight ghost fish.
What you are working towards
Sixty-four species, eight rods, thirteen baits, thirty levels, a FishDex that fills in per location, daily and weekly quests, friends through a four-letter code, and weekly leaderboards that reset on Monday.

Tips & Strategies
A few things that are not obvious in the first ten minutes:
- Hold the cast button instead of tapping it. The ring on the water grows while you hold, and it turns red before you let go if the float would land on the bank.
- Bait is a choice, not a tax. Every bait names the fish it draws and the game keeps that promise — sweetcorn really does bring carp where a worm rarely does.
- Give line when the fish runs. Holding through a run loads the rod and costs you tension; letting a little go and winding it back is faster than fighting it flat.
- A rod that cannot land what you hooked says so at the bite, and it names the rod that would hold it. That is a shopping list, not a failure.
- A species you have never landed is worth three times the XP, so travelling pays better than grinding one bank.
- Lock the fish you want to keep before you sell. Selling is one button and it takes the whole bag.
- Sign in with Google on your first visit. The game runs without it, but nothing follows you to the phone.
