Carp Fishing (com.dexylabs.carpfishing) and Carp Fishing Pro (com.dexylabs.carpfishingpro)
Developer: Dexy Labs · Last updated: 30 September 2026

In short: You can play Carp Fishing offline without an account. If you choose to sign in with Google to save your progress online and join tournaments and leaderboards, we store your Google account ID, name, email, your game progress and your tournament catches on our server (Google Firebase). We use crash reports to fix bugs. There are no ads, we do not sell your data, and you can delete your account and all online data at any time.

1. Playing without an account

Without signing in, the game works fully offline. Your session, catch log, personal bests, collections, koi album and settings are saved only on your phone and are not sent to us.

2. Signing in with Google (optional)

Saving your progress online, tournaments and online leaderboards require signing in with your Google account. When you sign in, we receive from Google and store:

We do not receive your Google password.

3. Saving your progress (cloud save)

When you are signed in, your game progress is saved to your account on our server, so you can continue on another phone or after reinstalling the game. This includes your catch log and personal bests, collections and koi album, unlocked rewards (such as reels and spools) and your game settings. The first time you sign in, the progress already on your phone is copied to your account. Trophy photos stay on your phone and are not uploaded.

3a. Tournaments and leaderboards

When you take part in a tournament or submit a catch to a leaderboard, our server stores the catch (species, weight, water, time) and your results. To keep tournaments fair, the server decides the outcome of each tournament catch. On public leaderboards other players can see your display name and your results. Your email address is never shown.

4. Crash reports

If the game crashes, it sends a crash report through Google Firebase Crashlytics: the time, device model, Android version, game version and technical details of the error, together with an installation identifier. We use this only to find and fix bugs.

6. Where the data is stored

Online data is stored with Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions, Crashlytics), which may process it on servers outside your country, including the United States. Google acts as our service provider: firebase.google.com/support/privacy. All data is sent over encrypted connections.

7. Photos and sharing

When you tap Share on a trophy photo, the game saves the picture to your phone and opens the standard Android share window. You decide where it goes. We do not receive or keep your photos.

8. Purchases

Carp Fishing (free version) offers one optional in-app purchase that unlocks the full game. Carp Fishing Pro is a paid app with no in-app purchases. Payments are processed by Google Play; we never see your payment details. Google's privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy.

9. Ads

There are no ads in Carp Fishing or Carp Fishing Pro, and the game does not use the advertising ID.

10. We do not sell your data

We do not sell or rent your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

11. How long we keep data

Account, saved progress and tournament data is kept while your account exists. When you delete your account, it is removed from our servers within 30 days. Crash reports are kept for up to 90 days.

12. Deleting your account and data

You can delete your account in the game (Menu → Settings → Account → Delete account) or by following the steps on our account deletion page. Offline game data on your phone is deleted when you uninstall the game or clear its data in Android settings.

13. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR), you have the right to access, correct or delete your data and to object to its processing. Write to us and we will respond within 30 days.

14. Children

The game is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has signed in, contact us and we will delete the account.
